We stayed during the week, it was pretty calm and quiet during this time. The concierge desk had plenty of helpful tips for things to do both on the peninsula and elsewhere. Staff here went above and beyond to make our stay a special one, they were always reachable and courteous. I hope they have put a restaurant in since then, check that if it's important to you! At the time we stayed here (fall 2021) there was no restaurant, though there were several bars with food options. Stayed here on our honeymoon, it was a perfect experience in many ways. So, stop hunting and book your appointment. I recommend the spa as it's a good location, both Jim and Margaret were engaging and fun to talk with. Jim covered it and worked my shins and feet as well: walking can do a number on you. I identified the sore points: with me it's always like a kite shape on my back: neck, out to below shoulder blades, back in to lower back, and then my forearms and hands. Jim is the first, I've had of many, who was of the caliber of my therapist. My therapist, of 15 yrs, back home retired (he was great). She was great checking in with me and following up.
I received an email confirmation from Margaret. I booked with Jim for a 90 min deep tissue. Spa Adagio also offers an extensive list of available services such as facials, etc.

You can choose the type of massage: they offer a full list of massage styles. I made an appt online, which was easy to do, as you can see all therapists available: dates/times. After the flights, walking, along with a presentation I was here to do that was bouncing around my head, the body needed balancing. I walked this city end to end, side to side. I arrived four days early to Charleston for a conferences at the Francis Marion. Spa Adagio is located inside the Francis Marion Hotel in downtown Charleston, on the corner of King & Calhoun streets.
